Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager role involves outreach to prospective clients using our marketing process and systems.



Responsibilities include the following:
  • Communicate the benefits of financial planning, as well as our innovative platforms and software to clients and prospects
  • Develop skills using marketing tools, such as Salesforce and LinkedIn; financial planning tools, such as Morningstar and Finance Logix
  • Develop an understanding of markets and financial instruments
  • Develop skills in communication and collaboration, as well as technical skills related to financial analysis and problem solving
  • Collaborate with financial advisors about clients and prospects to build pipelines of planning opportunities
  • Develop time management skills, manage senior planning team calendars, and manage leads to reach sales goals
  • Manage technology to better position yourself and the firm through social media, and use the power of CRM systems to send relevant information to prospective leads that help improve your relationship

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind set and skill set
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Prior experience in a sales atmosphere
