Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities which include but are not limited to: financial reporting, payroll, account reconciliations, vendor management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filings, etc.

• Manage payroll processing and administration via ADP; set up new employees; and manage payroll audits and payroll tax reporting.

• Ensure all reports are submitted in timely manner, including FOCUS reports.

• Manage monthly reconciliations and bookkeeping; prepare travel expenses and provide oversight.

• Ensure firm is in regulatory compliance with net capital requirements.

• Assist in gathering data for tax filings and audits.

Qualifications:

• MUST have FINRA Series 7

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• 5+ years’ experience as a FinOp in a broker-dealer.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. 

• Strong understanding of internal controls.
